This is my favorite because it makes fun of the difficulty of the punch card ballots and how much they confused people. There was some fishy things going on then...that's why we now have electronic voting

Project Citizen

I believe what those Middle school kids did was awesome. They saw problems their school was having and they figured instead of just sitting around not doing anything about it, they would be the ones to speak up and make a difference. They didn't just try to throw anything together, it was actually very well planned a thought out. I really commend these young people for doing this; it shows age is not a factor in making a difference. Anybody can sit around and complain about a problem but it takes a very strong and determined group of people to actually solve a problem. If no one ever spoke out about a problem nothing would ever be done about it. If these young people can make a difference, than so can I or anyone else. All you need is a few people to step up, speak out, and have a very well thought out Plan of action to make to make things happen.

My perfect Candidate

If I could build my own personal political candidate, I would definitely start by making him a liberal. He would also be pretty young, someone in their mid forties/early fifties. This would ensure that he could relate to the youth better. He would be someone who stood up for the common man and not just the wealthy. My political candidate would end the war in Iraq as well as the war in Afghanastan, be a firm believer in pro choice, and women's rights. My candidate would also have extremely strict gun laws. All in all, if I could make my own candidate, he would be someone that was for the people and looked out for us.
